Mepps Aglia Spinners - Dressed

$4.45 - $4.95

The Mepps Aglia Spinners - Dressed is the "Original French Spinner" and is the World's #1 fishing lure. It has a classic design and superior quality. No other lure has caught so many record fish.

We stock the Aglia in four sizes: #0 (1/12 ounce), #1 (1/8 ounce), #2 (1/6 ounce) and #3 (1/4 ounce). Sizes #0 and #1 are perfect for trout, perch and panfish. A #2 Aglia is ideal for large crappies, while Aglias in size #3 are great for both large and smallmouth bass, salmon and steelhead.

About Me:
Lure maker.

These lures are a standby, and an absolute must when fishing the creeks and rivers for white bass!  My wife isn't skilled at fishing, but when I tie on one of these she is lights out!  Awesome to watch her fill a stringer when all the men around her are not having much luck!  One of the best lures ever made!

Pros: Ease of use.

Cons: Price.

Best Uses: Casting

About Me:
Avid Fisher
I use these small dressed Mepps spinners with ultra lite reels/rods with 6 to 8 lbs test line and catch crappie and white bass. AND yes, large mouth bass try to take it away from me also. I cast mostly but I also do some vertical jigging and I sometimes troll with them behind a JetDiver @ 8 feet deep. I have been using Mepps spinners for over 35 years! I live in the Houston Texas area and fish various TEXAS lakes. But I have used these spinners in Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee and caught fish in all those states. Matter fact a large mouth bass tournament fisherman gave me $20.00 for one of my Mepps Spinners back in the late seventies (Green River) which is actually a lake.

Pros: Irresistible to Fish, Looks Realistic, Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish, Strong, Easy To Handle

Cons: none

Best Uses: Deep Water, Fresh Water, Jigging, Trolling
