About Me:

this is the absolute best popper i've used, and i've tried most of what's out there. let it sit then pop it, or chug it in, it works. the tail end sinks down in the water on it's own, and it spits water when popped. use a slow sinking line like pline cxx and it will "glug" and make a trail of bubbles. "baby bass" is my go to color. full sun, overcast or any other condition, it gets the job done.

Pros: It works , Irresistible to Fish

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fresh Water

This thing is great for drawing out bass. The strikes you get are amazing. The only downside is that sometimes the front hook gets caught around your fishing line, so strikes are often lost.

Pros: Easy To Store , Easy To Handle , Irresistible to Fish

Cons: Poor Construction

Best Uses: Shore Casting , Fresh Water

About Me:

I use the Spit and Sputter on just a couple of select northern Wisconsin lakes. I like an early start on an overcast morning with no wind. I cast the Lure to the shallows, twitch it a couple times, do a herky jerky retrieve and its been very effective for Large Mouth Bass.

Pros: Irresistible to Fish , Strong , Easy To Store , Easy To Handle

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fresh Water

About Me:

Ok, this lure is my favorite top water lure on the market. Last year I was fishing in the norhtwoods of Wisconsin, and my favorite lure was taken by a huge northern pike, I was bass fishin, and needless to say, he bit right through my 20# braid, my lure was gone... It took me a year to find the same lure. So I bought 8 of them, and always catching more fish then my buddies... This lure is very easy to work. You can make it pop fast or slow, but be ready, cause when that fish hits it, he's gonna hit it good, so hold on, and enjoy...

Pros: Strong , Easy To Handle , Looks Realistic , Good For Variety Of Fish , Irresistible to Fish

About Me:

I fish 4-6 days a week in a shallow spring fed farm pond that remains gin clear all season. I've used many brands and different types of top water lures. This Matzuo top water cast like a bullet, rattles & shakes, spits water like cannon, & even floats tail down. The unique concave mouth & extended lip design provide action better than any top water i have tried. Just cast it, pop it once or twice, stop, and then start again. You will be amazed at what aggressive strikes you will get with this approach. I have had fish dart out from under cover like lightning to attack this lure, even from several feet away in the middle of day! The only bad thing about these lures is that i don't own enough of them!

Pros: Irresistible to Fish

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fresh Water
