Matzuo Kroaker Frog

Matzuo logo

Matzuo Kroaker Frog lures are the perfect floating frog bait for hard to reach bass - fish in lily pads, timber or any other heavy cover. The cupped mouth design spits a large plume of water when popped, and when combined with the multi-strand rubber legs (similar to the skirt of a spinnerbait), they make for a truly irresistible bait.

Kroaker Frog lures feature a soft, molded body with dual weedless, heavy duty, black nickel hooks for positive hook sets. These frogs are offered in a great range of colors to cover any fishing conditions, day or night.

Bass were around but did not seem to care for the frogs. Maybe that is because I am fishing in South Korea and I have the wrong color?

Not Bad at all for the price...

I use many types of hollow-body frogs & these looked interesting, especially for the price... Not bad overall & they catch nice bass... Sits in the water exactly like I like - rear sitting a good bit lower in the water. Cast a long way too, like SPRO's. Had to do some glueing within a couple of uses when pulling bass out of slop... Only substantial complaint is the weight is very large & it sits right in the way of the collapsable area, so can inhibit hookups. If the hooks were a little bigger this probably wouldn't be an issue... They are a good frog for around $3.50 -$4.00
Pros: Casts far, Sits well in water, Good color selection
Cons: Not as durable as some, Weight in way of hookup
Best Uses: none

Had a pike hit it 2nd cast (chartreuse color). Was never a big topwater guy but its awesome to see a big fish blow up a topwater bait. Silicon legs are high quality. Can't wait to see the smaller Kroaker from Matzuo next year.
Pros: Great Value
Cons: none
Best Uses: Bass Pike
