Loon Top Ride Powder Floatant

Loon Top Ride floatant is the leading dry fly floatant. Anglers have come to know the importance of a powdered dry fly floatant and dessicant to keep their dry flies floating high all day. Used in addition to a paste floatant, it helps remove water and fish slime from flies, ensuring they continue to float on top. Loon Top Ride is excellent for CDC emergers and dries (don't use paste floatant on CDC), along with all other topwater and emerger flies and is the choice of the FishUSA staff.

To use Top Ride, place your wet fly in the container and shake, coating the fly. Remove excess powder floatant by false casting. Please remember to use a quality paste floatant like Loon Aquel Paste Floatant when you first start fishing and apply Top Ride periodically during the day, when necessary.

Good for use during fly-fishing, easy to attatch to vest and use. Need to blow off and recognize that it will put off a little dust on the water - don't use and then try to cast to a easily spooked trout. Does its job however.

Pros: Easy To Use, Functional

Cons: none

Best Uses: Fresh Water

Works well, usually use gel/paste to begin with, and use this when it gets too wet, or hopefully even better when it gets slimed by a fish. Seems to be efficient though need to make sure to cast close after covering to make sure the powder is not leaving a ring in the water.

Pros: Easy To Use, Easy To Maintain, Durable, Functional

Cons: none

Best Uses: Fresh Water
