Love these rods. This was more money than I generally spend on rods but it was worth it. I really don't know why anyone would spend several hundred dollars on a surf rod. I fish a lot - 2 to 4 times a week - and these rods are fantastic.

I have the 10 foot and 11 foot surfking. I like the 11 foot better for throwing fresh bait and the 10 foot for lures. The 11 foot is no problem with a 6 oz. weight and large bunker chunk.It's really light to hold while waiting for a fish.It's good with lures as well but the 10 foot I'm afraid will break if I really haul off and throw fresh bait unlike the confidence I have in the 11 foot rod.
