Hali Sukkula Jigs
The Hali Sukkula Jigs are very popular for vertical jigging while ice fishing. These jigs feature a slim minnow body with a #10 chain hook.
We stock these jigs in 3 sizes. The sizes are as follows:
- 25mm or 1 1/4" and 3/16 ounce
- 35mm or 1 1/2" and 5/16 ounce
- 50mm or 2" and 7/16 ounce

This is one of the best jigs for ice fishing. U can jig it with the minnow head, waxies, spikes, or just put a live minnow and let it swim freely.
Pros:
Great for jigging or live bait.

Great Lure for Jigging Kokanees

Order came very quickly and was complete. These jigs fall to the target depth very quickly, I ordered the smallest size for kokanees. Tipped with corn and maggots they work very well. The weak point is the chain and light hook. After a few fish and trying to quickly remove the hook and getting it back down the hole before the fast moving kokanees departed spread the hook and the chain might break. I replaced the hooks with hooks I had bought seperately. The issue I have is that these are pricely lures for their simplicity and I suggest that they come with an extra chain and hook and also be able to order replacement chains and hooks.

These are about the only lure I used this year and in years past. Many days it was the only thing I caught fish on. Their weight alows you to be precise in bottom placement and bite detecting. I have many different colors but my favorite go to is green black and silver.

Hali's are the best ice jigs I have used. I have caught perch, bluegill, crappie bass, largemouth bass, and lake trout on them. I like the middle length the best.

As ice fishing jigs go, these Hali's are the best I have used. However, you need to expect that you will need to replace the hooks. Sometimes sooner than expected. I recently bought 4 new Hali's, and the blue perch one pictured above only caught 5 or 6 fish before the hook broke. I do really well with these jigs on perch, bluegill, and crappies.

I always keep about four of these in my ice fishing tackle box for fishing perch. I end up buying more usually because I get bitt off by pike once in a while perch fishing.

When a friend recommended that I use a Hali jig on an ice fishing trip last year, I did not know what he was talking about. He gave me one and told me to tip it with maggots. I immediately started catching perch, bluegills, crappies and bass in 20+ feet of water. The weight of the lure gets you back down into the strike zone quickly, and the Hali seems to attract a variety of fish.
