I have been fishing nearly everyday with this rod for a couple of weeks. It has been great. I really like how soft the action is at the tip but when you go to set the hook there is lots of backbone. I have landed 20 inch rainbow trout as well as a 16 inch bass with this light rod and I am sure it could handle bigger fish if needed. It is great for panfish. I got the 24 inch and it works well inside or outside the hut. I will be buying another one soon!

I bought this rod specifically for dead sticking perch through the ice. They worked great for it!!! The only problem was that the first couple of guides filled with ice, but a couple of warm breaths and they were clear

Pros: Economically priced, Lightweight, super sensitive
Cons: Eyes fill with ice
Best Uses: Dead sticking minnows, Ice Fishing for panfish

The product is not very good. HT in general manufactures items at the poorest quality (even for China). I bought the ice rod to test it out, i am the president of a 60+ member fishing club. My members wanted recommendations on a decent fishing rod for a cheap price. As i stated before HT is really bad. I do not even know why I thought of testing it out. Anyways all the eyes were not aligned, and the handle was banged up. FISH USA provided excellent customer service though and the product arrived at my house with in 2 days of ordering, I will continue to love FISH USA but discontinue my hope that HT will improve its horrible quality.
Pros: Sensitive, Lightweight, Good Tip Action, Easy To Transport, Flexible
Cons: Breaks Easily, Poor Construction
Best Uses: Ice Fishing

Used them mostly for Perch and occasional trout while fishing through the ice. The fishing rod seems to have the correct balance of flexibility and they've been great spotting those real light bites.
Pros: Good Tip Action, Sensitive, Lightweight, Easy To Transport, Flexible, Durable
