Gudebrod SST Hi-Vis Fly Line Backing

Gudebrod SST Hi-Vis Fly Line Backing is a fine diameter, high strength backing made from multiple strands of 100% gel spun polyethylene. SST Hi-Vis Fly Line Backing is resistant to ultraviolet light and is highly abrasion resistant. This line also features a low stretch of less than 3%.

Gel spun, small diameter backing is a favorite of saltwater and salmon anglers. This backing allows the angler put more backing on the reel than with standard dacron backing, great for hard running species of gamefish.

We offer this quality fly line backing in 45 lb. test, 300 yd. spools (Equivalent dia. of 15 lb. standard dacron backing)

This backing is hi-vis chartreuse in color.
