About Me:

Use it primarily for small streams and creeks with 2# line and light lures and spinners for trout. Size is perfect for navigating and casting in heavy brush cover. Would have liked a more moderate light rather than the moderate/fast configuration.

Pros: Lightweight , Accurate Casting , Durable

Cons: Hard To Transport , Too Stiff

Best Uses: Small Fish

About Me:

I had planned to use the rod for stream and river trout fishing with small lures and jigs, and while it casts small lures well it is a much lighter rod than the description would lead you to believe. This is a small stream rod for small fish using 2 lb. test line. It is not a rod for large trout on light jigs as advertised. If you want a beautiful super light rod for casting super light lures for smaller fish then you will be happy with this rod. It is not a versatile rod for larger streams and larger fish. I like the Loomis IMX rods much better. I am not impressed with this blended rod and I think they missed the mark.

Pros: Beautiful ultra light rod , Sensitive , Good Tip Action , Lightweight

Cons: Ultra light not light , Poor casting accuracy

Best Uses: Small Fish
