G. Loomis ShoreStalker Series Fly Rods

$350.00 - $380.00
ShoreStalker Series Fly Rods from G. Loomis are your best choice if you to make pinpoint casts to bass, pike, panfish or anything that lives along the shoreline and amongst the logs or lily pads. These rods are designed with a casting range of 20 to 60 feet for precise placement of large poppers and streamers. The ShoreStalker Series has the muscle to yank the largest fish away from the structures they seek.

From the 8' 0" 5 weight to the 8' 8" 9 weight, all ShoreStalker rods feature full wells cork grips for powerful casting strokes along with black, anodized aluminum reel seats and cork composite fighting butts. The rod blanks are a fast action blend of G. Loomis's high end graphites, resulting in a smooth casting rod with plenty of power to move fish and push wind resistant flies through the air with ease.

About Me:
Avid Fisher
took this in the intercoastal for snook and was able to cast precisely into the mangroves. It had a very good feel because this rod has some weight to it. It's stiff enough that i was able to launch the line without losing accuracy.

Pros: Stiff heavy feel, Easy To Transport, Accurate Casting, Good Tip Action, Sensitive

Cons: none

Best Uses: Large Fish, Fly Fishing, Ocean Fishing, River Fishing
