G. Loomis Pro Green Series Saltwater Spinning Rods are a special set of inshore saltwater rods created for anglers that prefer to fish small jigs, soft plastics and any number of artificial baits, including topwaters, for myriad saltwater species on the flats. These rods are a great choice for blues and stripers along the Atlantic Coast as well as redfish, seatrout, permit, bonefish, snook and small tarpon in Florida and all along the Gulf coast. These rods offer a unique blend of power, light weight and sensitivity.

G. Loomis Pro Green Series Saltwater Spinning Rods come in four power-ratings and three different rods lengths to cover a variety of water depths and conditions. The faster actions of the Pro Green Series give wading and boat anglers, alike, more positive line and lure control. Designed to create quick, accurate “snap casts” to visible targets or long prospecting casts where covering water is more important, these rods have powerful butt-sections to move big fish.

G. Loomis Pro Green Series Saltwater Spinning Rods have short rear grips to optimize casting performance as well as line and lure control. No more handles getting in the way or poking you in the ribs! These rods are exceptionally light! You'll feel as energized when you're finished for the day as you were when you started. Made in the USA.

PGR 821S  - A nice, light spilnning rod designed to fish soft plastics and jigs for specks and reds in skinny water where presentation is important. It allows you to make soft, stealthy casts which is paramount for success in really shallow or super-clear water. Its a little shorter than normal to improve your accuracy and lure control.

PGR 822S  - This rod is designed to allow short, accurate casts in and around cover, especially the mangroves where you need to keep the bait under overhanging limbs. It’s designed to fish lighter, jigs and small to medium topwaters.

PGR 823S  - This rod is designed to allow short, accurate casts in and around cover, especially the mangroves where you need to keep the bait under overhanging limbs, but it’s a little more powerful for larger baits, heavier line and larger fish.

PGR 824S  - This rod is designed for short, accurate casts in and around heavy cover, especially the mangroves and other submerged cover. It’s much more powerful for fishing larger lures and heavier line. This is the big fish rod of the group. A great choice for snook!

PGR 881S  - When you still need a stealthy presentation, but distance is important, this is the rod you want in your hands. It fishes small baits effectively and gives you a big advantage when you need to cover a lot of water. It will cast even the smallest baits a country mile and when you finally get the bite you're after, has the power to get the fish to the boat.

PGR 882S  - When accuracy is still important, but you need to back off of the fish because they’re extra spooky or the water is really clear, this is the right rod. The extra length will stiffen the blank a bit, but it’s still a light jig and small to medium-sized topwater rod.

PGR 883S  - When accuracy is still important, but you need to back off of the fish because they’re extra spooky or the water is really clear, the extra length is a big plus. It’s designed for bigger fish, heavier cover and bigger baits.

PGR 884S  - When accuracy is still important, but you need to back off of the fish because they’re extra spooky or the water is really clear, the extra length is a big plus. It’s designed for big fish, heavy cover and big lures. When you need to get a fish out of the limbs in a hurry, this is a good choice.

PGR 942S  - This rod is designed for open water where long, accurate casts are required to fish pocket water from a distance or intercept a lone cruiser. The extra length gives you increased tip speed for longer casts and excellent lure & line control. The extra length stiffens this rod a bit, but it is still for fishing light jigs and small to medium topwaters. The extra length is also an advantage for wading.

PGR 943S  - This rod is designed for open water where long, accurate casts are required to fish pocket water from a distance or intercept a lone cruiser. The extra length gives you increased tip speed for longer casts and excellent lure & line control. It’s more powerful for fishing larger lures and medium sized topwaters.

PGR 944S  - This is a powerful rod for fishing open water where long casts are essential for success. The extra length gives you faster tip speed for increased casting distance and long-distance hook-sets. The extra length is a plus for wading and it will handle big topwaters and heavy jigs as well as soft-plastics. Got a shot at a big permit? This would by our rod of choice.
