Steelhead/Salmon Drift Rod Blanks

Float fishing has been hot in Great Britain for ages, and has become very popular in Canada for salmon and steelhead fishing. It is now catching on rapidly in the United States as well because it is an unbelievably effective method to drift fish for steelhead and salmon.

G. Loomis Canada makes its own brand of float rods and blanks, known as the Frontier series. These are top-quality IM6 graphite blanks available in lengths from 13 feet to 15 feet.

The G. Loomis Canada Frontier blanks are dark "matte" grey. The ST1802S X blank will have the designation "STR" on the packaging.
