So far, so good. Comfortable light weight boot with nice lacing system. The rubber soles are surprisingly as stable as felt in limestone and freestone creeks alike and much more stable while walking in mud and leaves than felt. I would recommend ordering the same size boot as your street shoe for a good fit. The only con I can see so far is the shoes take a long time to dry out between uses. FishUSA once again has the best price and service on this product.

Pros: Lightweight, Really good traction, Good support, Easy To Take On And Off

Cons: They take a while to dry out

Haven't had a chance to use them for wading yet. The quality of construction and materials seems to be as good as boots that are 2 to 3 times as expensive.  Buy the size street shoe you wear not adjusted for waders and socks, they are sized accordingly. Would like to have had better arch support.

Pros: Tough Material, Easy To Take On And Off, Moderate cost, Lightweight

Cons: Flat insole

About Me:

My first pair of wading shoes were hand-me-downs so I don't have much to compare to. I'm a size 10W shoe and decided to gamble on a size 11. I figured the stockings are like thick socks so the extra room would work. While the fit is slightly on the larger size, it isn't noticeable and frankly speaking I'd rather have a tiny bit more room than have them too snug. Getting in and out is a breeze, lots of neck?? room to slide into. The only downside is that the top of tongue is fairly thick and the elastic portion of the gravel guards was really tight. In all fairness I am getting larger waders so this may be a non-issue, but they are a little thick up top. If the laces went higher up or were longer I suppose one could wrap them around and compress the tongue a little, but really it's a petty thing. These are sturdy and reasonably lightweight. Over-all I think these are fantastic mid-level boots and more than enough for a casual fisherman.

Pros: Tough Material, Good Footing, Easy To Take On And Off

Cons: none

Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing

Good Boot for Alaska
Reviewed:

About Me:
Casual/ Recreational
I bought these to go with the guide pants to take to Alaska. I did 2 different hunts, 1 for Moose and 1 for Sitka Blacktails. They were put through soaked tundra as well as rocky mountains, to snow and ice. They were totally abused on these hunts and they look just like they did when they came out of the box. Not even a stitch out of place. Great traction and ankle support. The pants waders are tough as nails also, as I put them through nasty alders and bushes. Great products!

Pros: Tough Material, Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Breathable, Good Footing

Cons: none

Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Saltwater Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Hunting, Cold Water

I have always been a Simms fan but in these economic times Frogg Togg merchandise has proven to be an economical alternative. I am very pleased with the FT waders I bought last year and so far very pleased with the wading boots I recently bought. I would recommend ordering as per street size shoe. I bought a little big thinking I would be safe but ended up returning for street size.

Light, tough and build well. I bought these for the price and the fact that they are Frog Toggs. I've had these out on several fly fishing outings, and they have performed performed well. On the sizing, for a half size larger then you normally wear. I am an 11 1/2....ordered size 12 and they fit great with the waders.

Cons: none

I use them for fishing and metal detecting, so I walk allot and they are comfortable. The only thing is that the left shoe is a little smaller and my right foot is my bigger foot. It is a little tight but not so that I can not use them. I was hoping they would stretch a little, but they have not and I have walked in them about ten hours so far.

Pros: Tough Material, Good support, Easy To Take On And Off, Good Footing

Cons: Left shoe was smaller

I bought these boots because I ran my Simms boots into the dirt. I've had them for about three weeks and have put about 25 hours of wear and tear on them already. I like the fit of them and the support they give on the ankles. The rubber sole is the same as any rubber sole so don't expect velcro like traction. I do agree with another review about having to tuck the tongue in when lacing them up, but honestly no more different than lacing up a regular boot. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. They're exactly what I was looking for; a budget priced boot that will roll with the punches I throw at it.

Pros: Breathable, Easy To Take On And Off, Dries Quickly

Cons: none

Frogg Toggs Anura Sticky

About Me:

Adequate budget wading shoe, sticky rubber not that sticky, lightweight, seems adequately built but not primo. Ordered up one full size from shoe size and seems about right. Time will tell if durability is an issue - lace hooks may be an issue. The "take on and off comment" refers to the need to fully open the boot and tongue and then tuck the tongue back carefully when putting on. Seems a bit stiff in the ankle and back. Only used two days so far so will have to report back later.

Pros: Lightweight, Moderate cost

Cons: Difficult to Take on and Off

Best Uses: Fly Fishing
