Frabill Kwik-Stow Folding Nets

Frabill Kwik-Stow Folding Nets
The Frabill Kwik-Stow Folding Nets feature a folding design for compact storage and an extendable handle for added reach.

Kwik-Stow Folding Nets are constructed of heavy duty plastic and aluminum and are perfectly suited for use in a kayak, canoe, pram or boat. The netting is constructed from "fish friendly" tangle-free micro mesh.

We carry two models of the Frabill Kwik-Stow Folding Nets:

Model 3607 features an 18" X 16" hoop and is 14" deep. When open, the 3607 handle extends from 24" to 41". When colapsed, the net measures only 25" long. The 3607 is great for trout, panfish and small bass when fishing from a canoe, kayak or small boat.

Model 3608 features an 22" X 20" hoop and is 14" deep. When open, the 3608 handle extends from 35" to 63". When colapsed, the net measures only 36" long. The 3608 is great for large trout, bass and walleye when fishing from any size canoe or boat.

We live in the south (TN) and the recent weather has been so bad that I haven't had a chance to use the net yet. This purchase was to replace a similar net I'd had for nearly 30 years and had lost in rough weather during a tournament. Even though I haven't actually had the net in the water yet, I couldn't be happier with it. It folds down to a very manageable size and appears to be durable and well constructed. All I need now is for the weather to be nice long enough for me to try it out!
Pros: Folds compactly, Functional, Durable, Nice size, Easy To Use
Cons: none
Best Uses: Fresh Water

Stores nicely in the boat. When the net is fully extended, it feels like a heavy fish could break the handle.
Pros: Nice and compact, Easy To Use
Cons: none
Best Uses: Fresh Water, 4-6 lb Walleyes

I often hike along rivers and tribs in winter for steelhead and browns. I stopped carrying a net due to hang ups on brush/tees and lost a good number of fish as a result. This net is perfect. Folds into a compact unit, easy to cary, long extendable hande makes reaching down a snow/ice covered bank easy. Folding mechanism still worked and did not freeze up even in single digit temps. Only had it a couple of months so can't speak to long term durability but looks really good so far.
Pros: Functional, Easy To Use
Cons: none
