Forceps

Forceps (sometimes called hemostats) are a must for every fishing vest. This tool is great for removing a hook from a fish you plan to release, to open split shot, and for many other purposes.

These forceps are 5 inches long with either straight or curved jaws and are made of stainless steel.

Please select either straight or curved jaws from the list above.

Cheap enough to have multiple pairs. Hook to your vest, lanyard, wherever. Only downside with these is the finger holes may not fit everyone (which is why some people prefer pliers).

Pros: Easy To Use , Functional , Easy To Maintain

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fresh Water

This is decent pair of low cost forceps. The tips do not align precisely, but close enough. If you want high quality, spend a couple buck more. If you want low cost, these work OK.

Pros: Functional , Easy To Use

Cons: Poor Construction

Best Uses: Fresh Water

About Me:

I bought both straight and curved version. The forceps held tight and well functioned. The reason I didn't gave 5 stars is because these forceps came in large buckles from Asia and there are scratches spotted occasionally. They don't look like top quality, either. (100% Stainless though) Anyway, definitely worth the price.

Pros: Durable , Easy To Use , Functional

Cons: Poor Construction

Best Uses: Fresh Water
