I like the fly a lot. Looks great in the water, but my only complaint is that you have to weight the hell out of it to get it down. The body is really dense on it, If it was tied with a lead body to help get it down it would be 5 star. Just my opinon tho.
Pros: Irresistible to Fish
Cons: Needs Weighted
Best Uses: Steelhead and Salmon

These are awesome. I bought one in each color and they work great. The bubblegum, lemon and the lime are the most productive colors on LE tribs and the blueberry was effective on the Salmon river. These are great high water or stained patterns as they have an awesome translucent silhouette with plenty of flash. This has quickly become my go to pattern for the Lower Niagara and I now tie my own. The only thing I changed was the hook. I went from the 3906b hook to a TMC 2457 scud hook. I prefer the strong scud hook with a wide gape in size 10 but otherwise these things are killer on the steelies, lakers and browns.
Pros: Irresistible to Fish
Cons: none
Best Uses: Steelhead

Total beginner at steelhead fishing. Fished with guide one time and hit. Went out by myself found a deep fast, slightly muddy run, tied on flash kandy and put on two heavy shot. Let it bounce on the bottom and bam!! First steelhead on my own. I am recommending this fly to my buddies.
Pros: Irresistible to Fish, Looks Realistic, Easy To Handle
