About Me:
This is one of the most sensitive and it is the lightest rod I own. It is hard to believe but this rod is killer in about every category. Your fingers get to touch the blank, it light, it strong and it has a small diameter making it is easier to hold for long periods of time. As you can tell it is my favorite out of too many rods.

Pros: High quality, Reasonable price, Well Balanced, Sensitive, Light

Cons: none

I don’t usually leave comments on things unless its something special. So I like the rod I purchased a 6’3” one. But when it arrived the guide on the tip was glued on around 45 deg off from the rest of them. looked like maybe it was bumped before the glue dried. Anyways so I had ordered it 2 weeks before a fishing trip that I was going on so I knew it would get here on time. So I was panicked when it arrived like it did, Knowing that there was less than one week left. When I called FishUSA.com they said that they did not have any more in stock, And could have one shipped from Fenwick to my house. I thought great it will be here to late. So now the good part. FishUSA.com had the bad pole picked up by UPS from my house(I didn’t even need to take it to UPS). The new pole got here on time, They even had Fenwick inspect it before shipping it to me. I will never hesitate buying anything from FishUSA.com. They stood up and made it right!! As for the pole. It is top notch. I own several Fenwick poles and they are all great rods! I just got one with a defect and they too made it right.

This is a premier rod. It is at a price point that fills a niche that's been absent for a while. The rod is responsive, extremely light weight, made of quality materials, very well built, strong, highly sensitive, and did I mention beautifully finished!! The only issue I have is that the reel seat keeps untightening at times, which could possibly be me, I fish HARD!!. But I am not going to take away even one rating because this rod is worth every penny. I have it coupled with a Team Daiwa Tierra 3000 spinning reel, which matches it beautifully and 20lb Power Pro Braid w/a Seaguar InvizX 12lb leader. Time to (Rip some Lips).

Pros: Excellent Workmanship, High quality, Reasonably priced, Well Balanced, Beautiful finish

Cons: Handle untightens at times

Best Uses: All-round rod

I recently purchased the 7.5 foot medium light and finally got a chance to use it long line jigging eighth oz jigs for shallow walleye.  I was extremely impressed with how light the rod was and the incredible sensitivity.  The rod is beautiful and an incredible buy when comparing it to other rods that I own that were almost twice the price.  I have nothing negative to say about the construction and performance of the rod but I wish Fenwick would have made a 7 foot medium light.

Pros: Excellent Workmanship, Reasonable price

Cons: None

Best Uses: finesse fishing walley

I handled this rod at the Milwaukee Sport Show in March of this year and was impressed.  I purchased the rod as a general purpose spinning rod for bass fishing in and around Wisconsin.  I have this rod matched with a Shimano Symetry 3000 FL  reel and it is well balanced.  Upon closer inspection I found the quality ito be very high level and no workmanship defects.  The rod performs well and the grip is comfortable. The choice of eyelet's and the number of eyelets makes sense.  This is not a cheap rod but it is without question worth the money.  I own several St Croix rods including the new Legend extreme and can honestly say the Aetos is in a league of it's own and a rod you will reach for over and over again at a price that allows you to have a top of the line rod without paying a top of the line price.

Pros: High quality, Excellent Workmanship, Reasonable price, Well Balanced

Cons: None

Best Uses: This depends upon the length, power and action you select
