About Me:
Avid Angler
I ordered two of the 28" light action for going after Great Lakes whitefish. One of the reels bail would not stay open on its own and the drags are very touchy. After a few outings both rod tips are broken but still usable (now they are both 27.75"). I feel these would be good for fishing crappies and gills in a heated shelter. They are just to wimpy for the heavy jigs/spoons used to fish whitefish or walleye and the small guides freeze up easily in non-heated shacks.

Pros: Good Combo Price

Cons: rod tips brake easily, reel drag is not good
