Eppinger Dare Devle spoons are a tradition in New England. They work for a variety of fish and come in more color and size combinations than I can count. I prefer the old reliable red and white imps and dare devlet for pickerel, larger for pike. Using a steel leader is advisable and doesn't adversely affect the action of the lure. For just about any other fish including large and small mouth bass, white/yellow perch, brown trout, rainbow trout, etc, I prefer the red on yellow "5 of Diamonds." I've even caught alligator gar down south with this lure. It is my go-to lure, top of my box.
Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish, Strong, Easy To Handle, Long lasting, Irresistible to Fish
Cons: Lost in weeds rocks
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Trolling, Shore Casting, Pike, Pickerel
