This is my first season fishing drop shot rigs. I'm trying all of the equipment options to see what works best. I will keep a these drop shot weights in a variety of sizes handy. The shots ability to cut the line when snagged is quire useful when fishing in rock rubble. Saves a lot of line and plastics.
Pros: Easy To Handle, Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish
Cons: none

Having never used the drop shot method of fishing before, I found these drop shot weights easy to use. Just attach the weight to the bottom of you line and add a hook approximately 12-18 inches above the weight. Using your favorite plastic bait cast out and slowly work the bait back in, jigging it occasionally. I caught four nice bass the first time I used this method. I know I am sold on "drop shot".
Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish, Easy To Handle, Easy To Store
Cons: none
Best Uses: Jigging, Shore Casting, Deep Water, Fresh Water
