Love this rod. I own 3. Would buy 100 of them if I could. I hope they never go out of production. I use them for everything from live bait fishing under floats for pier coho, to steelhead to bluegill and crappie. Lots of flex, lots of fun, protects light leaders well and still lands large fish.
Pros: Flexible, Good Tip Action

This rod would probably make a good crappie bobber rod. It has a very slow action and very little rebound dampening. Casting is difficult because as the rod loads for the forward cast it will then equally unload do to excessive tip wiggle. Nice finish, first guide too small and further complicates casting. Will give mine to a friend who fishes from a pontoon boat and uses rod holders.
Pros: Nice Finish
Cons: Slow action

First I would like to applaud Fish USA for their fast delivery! I recently broke a 10 foot noodle rod that I fished with for years. Since, I've purchased an expensive B&M rod to replace it and was very disappointed. This new rod is exactly what I was looking for. It's long, thin, with spinning eyes, it's very light weight and affordable. If you're looking for a great pan fish rod, look no further!!

One of the best rods available for float fishing for the price. We guide over in Michigan, and put baitcasters on with floating mono, and send them out with this super forgiving rod. Enough backbone to get the job done on 20lb kings as well! Always great customer service from FishUSA
Pros: Durable
Cons: none
Best Uses: Steelhead
A good, very flexible rod for the handicapped angler.

For those of us whose age or physical condition make one-handed casting a, literal, pain, the two hand grip means that fishing is once again fun. The reel set is a wee tad too small for some of my reels and the rear guide is much too small for a so called spinnig rod. Indeed, the rod looks, feels and acts much more like a fly rod than one intended for spinning gear. It could also be an excellent, though short, center-pin or float rod. Such flexibility is rare and should be emulated. Overall, a very neat rod with a good action and a fair price.
Pros: Two-hand grip, Inexpensive, good action, accurate casting, Flexible
Cons: reel seat, small rear line guide
Best Uses: Fly fishing, trolling, float rod
Good Product.

A veteran steel header recommended I spend A few bucks and get a steelhead rod because it would help with casting into best pools and taliouts as well as be better for getting unstuck from snags. He was right. I have lost far less tackle on bottom snags with this rod. It is lighter weight so I can use it with my utlralight reel or my medium reel.

While I have not yet caught a steelhead on this rod I have used it to catch a few decent rainbows and browns. I use it mostly with the bubble and fly method or for swinging streamers with a couple of split shot. The rod has just the action I was looking for. As a flyfisherman I bought this rod to cast out to where I can't reach on big rivers with my flyrod. It is definitely an ultralight action. Equivalent to my 5 or 6 weight fly rods. Looking forward to catching a steelie on it.
