Description
Drennan Zeppler Floats

The Drennan Zeppler is a stubby float which is ideal for deep flowing water as well as shallower rapids. The wider shape of the zeppler keeps it stable in heavy current. These floats can be fished as a fixed float or as a slip float.

Each float is marked with a gram weight on the side. This weight is not the weight of the float itself, but rather the amount of weight in grams that the float will support.

The Drennan Zeppler float does a super job in medium to slow stream flow.  I prefer the Zeppler in the winter time because it has a slightly larger top which makes it easier to follow in the water.

Pros: durable
Cons: cost
Best Uses: Steelhad float fishing

I use the #20 zeppler float above a 1/4 oz. jig with an 1/8 or 1/4 oz inline weight. The float sits perfect with this right at the water line on the orange top. I fish allot of pocket water and have found it to be very visible at long distances, allot better than the west coast floats that I have been using! The only drawback that I have seen about this float is that they tend to be a little brittle but if your not banging it off of rocks I would throw nothing but these! And don't sit on them they snap open!!
Pros: none
Cons: none
Best Uses: Jigging

I like the ease of threading the line through the float, to make it a slip float. I have hit several rocks when casting the float. The float never cracked or split.

Cons: none
Best Uses: Shore Casting, Fresh Water, Deep Water
