Drennan Mixed Float Caps

The Drennan Float Caps are pieces of rubber tubing used to secure the float to the fishing line. By placing a piece of tubing on either side of the float, this allows the fisherman to quickly change floats without changing the entire setup.

Each package contains approximatley 36 float caps in assorted sizes and colors.

they function perfectly but i believe they should come free with the purchase of the floats. if you buy the drennan floats they don't come with caps.

It would be nice if Drennan supplied these with the floats but they dont and you need them. Even the biggest ones can be a little tight on the head of the loafer floats I use but its worth it if you like Drennan...which I do!

Purchased several Drennan Floats and it was necessary to purchase these caps separately. There were numerous caps of different sizes, some of which were not made for the floats I purchased. However, I was able to use the smaller sizes to attach my fishing line to my Steelhead Stalker floats.

I use these float caps with Drennan floats (and others) for freshwater fishing for trout, salmon, steelhead, carp, & catfish. They hold the float tight to the line, but loose enough to easily change depth without weakening the line.

Pros: Easy To Store , Easy To Handle , Good For Variety Of Fish

Cons: Limited Use

Best Uses: Fresh Water
