Breathable Stocking Foot Hip Waders
The Dan Bailey Breathable Stocking Foot Hip Waders are cut from the same material as Dan Bailey's standard breathable chest waders, a four layer waterproof material with unique fitted neoprene stocking feet. These hippers are perfect for any shallow water wading situation and the breathable material will keep you cooler in warmer weather unlike rubber hip waders.
This stocking foot hip wader requires a wading shoe or boot, which is not included (the picture above depicts the hip boot with a wading shoe).
Other features of the Dan Bailey Breathable Stocking Foot Hip Waders are shown below:
- Comfortable and adjustable straps
- Velcro adjustments for the thighs
- Four layer, breathable construction
- Built in, adjustable gravel guards
- 3mm neoprene stocking feet
- Khaki-green in color
- Taped sealed seams
We offer the Dan Bailey Breathable Stocking Foot Hip Waders in size X-Large.

BREATHABLE HIPPERS WORK WELL

I bought these waders to replace an identical pair that started leaking in the neoprene foot after 6 years of hard use. The size L in the new model had a smaller foot so I had to replace with XL. The foot was fine but the overall cut of the fabric was tighter around the lower leg and the straps that hook onto your belt were cheaper - the easy snap fastener has disappeared requiring one to tread the strap thru a clasp each time. Also, an "improvement" of a velcro strap to tighten the top of the wader around legs is not an improvement because the loose top is needed for venting heat and moisture so I just leave those straps loose. These hippers are super where streams are small and require lots of hiking in and around...they are like wearing nothing. So, in spite of being less good than the original model, they are still the best you can buy for the purpose.

I've owned chest waders for years and never invested in hip boots. During the summer I would suffer on hot days and this year decided to purchase hip boots. I find these waders to be perfect for stream fishing. They are very light weight, very easy to put on/off. I like the velcro for adjusting the top of the wader and the gravel cuffs - quick and easy. My other waders are stocking foot so these hip boots allow me to use my felt soled boots and have warm feet. The water in the streams is very cold. I would highly recommend these waders to anyone. Great performance for the price. By the way, the brook trout fishing has been excellent this year!

If you can use a hip wader, this is it. Good quality light weight breathable waders with stocking foot. Feet are contoured pretty well. Easy to put on and take off. Small package easy to store and pack. Works well with all wade boots. Perfect for small streams in warm weather. Could not find any other like it.

I bought these waders for a 4 day trip to the Cimmaron and Castillo Rivers in New Mexico. They were perfect. Comfortable, durable, good fitting and very dry. They added to the comfort and fun of a great trip! I added a small belt loop clip to the side straps and they were simple on/off.
