My husband's 20+ year old MiniCast still works but is quite beat up.  He was very happy to see a new shiny one on Christmas morning.  May it last as long and give him as much joy as the old one!

Pros: value, Dependability
Cons: none

About Me:
Casual/Recreational
Bought this for a trip to the Idaho Mountain Lakes. It worked really well. I had fears that its short lenght would make casting difficult, but loaded with 4 lb. test line I was able to reach out well even with small lures. Caught fish everyday and was so pleased I bought a second outfit as a gift for the person who watched over my house.
Pros: Flexible, Easy Casting, Smooth Reeling, Easy To Transport
Cons: none
Best Uses: Shore Casting
