DAM Tectan Premium Plus Monofilament

The specially treated line surface gives Premium Plus even more resistance to abrasion and UV deterioration. The slight yellow-green coloration blends in with the natural color of the water and is practically invisible to fish.

  • Specially treated line surface for even more resistance to abrasion
  • Superior knot strength
  • Small diameter size
  • Excellent lower memory castability

We stock DAM Tectan Premium Plus Monofilament in 300 meter filler spools (200 meter spools for 37.2 pound test). Please note that this line has a breaking strength much closer to the posted breaking strength, unlike many other nationally-known monofilaments. Diameters of this line are as follows:

I was glad to see FishUSA carries this line.  It is hard to find.  My favorite spinning line.  Casts long, low memory, and tough in structure.

Cons: Hard to find. Not many places sell this line.

Best Uses: Great for trout fishing

This is the best line I have ever used for PA trout.  I have tried numerous others but the diameter and feel of this line is outstanding.  4lb test is all you need it cast like a dream and your knots stay put, I fish with all types of lures and bait and you wil never see my trout reels line with no other brand only the green dam will do.  I have also been using this for 6 years now.

Pros: Best diameter to strenght , Best line money can buy , Casts very well , Blends In Well , Good strength

Cons: NO FALTS

Best Uses: Perfect for trout

Tectan line has an excellent strength to diameter ratio. I use the 6.4 lb / 0.17mm dia line, which is the equivalent dia to 3 lb test in other monofilament lines.

Pros: Best strength dia ratio

Cons: high price

Best Uses: Trout fishing
