About Me:
Avid Fisher
I have tried Stren, Trilene, Bass Pro, Suffix, Cajun, and many cheap lines. This is the best mono I have ever used. It just works well. It casts well, its thin, it has low memory, its abrasion resistant, it holds knots well, and I like the one and only color. The only downside is the price. It is the same price as Stren or Trilene but there is 200 meters instead of 300 meters. Bummer. DAM is a premium fishing line, however. I am willing to pay a premium price for reliable quality.

Pros: Low Stretch, strong and reliable., Easy Knot Tying, thin, Very Castable, Low Memory

Cons: Expensive, availability

Best Uses: none

About Me:
I tried many other makes of lines and came across the Damyl Ultra strong. I find it not only thin in diameter which makes it very sensitive it is also very strong and has practically zero stretch. The cost is also incredibly affordable. One of the best main line in the market. I recommend it highly.

Pros: thin, strong and reliable.

THis is a very ssoft, supple yet strong line. It can run over rocks without cracking and does not maintain a memmory (loops from the reel that slow down the line coming off of the spool). I don't use florocarbon line with this and the fish don't seem to mind!

Pros: casting - distance, strength

Cons: availability
