The handsome Cortland Precision XC Large Arbor Fly Reels are sure to be a prize possession. Precision XC reels are machined to the highest standards utilizing a completely sealed graphite/belliryum disc drag system that works flawlessly. Precision XC reels are anodized in a dark architectural bronze to perfectly match the Precision XC Rods. These reels are available in four sizes to meet most angling situations.

I used this reel in the 6 weight size for bonefish in Belize this year and it performed great. The drag was smooth and unfailing on many bonefish runs. I had dropped the spool overboard (year prior) in 20+ feet of water (with muddy bottom)and recovered it by retrieving all my backing. I cleaned it, put it back on and it has worked perfectly since.

Pros: Reliable , Smooth Drag System , Durable , Smooth Reeling

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fly Fishing
