Cortland Endurance Float Rods
The Cortland Endurance float rods were designed from the ground up to meet the needs of the Great Lakes steelhead float angler. The FishUSA staff and associated guides were involved with Cortland from the beginning in developing these rods. The actions, lengths and components were all selected based on the various rivers, streams and weather conditions encountered in the Great Lakes fishery. These rods are also suitable for west coast salmon and steelhead float fishing.
Thse rods are designed around a special 3 layer HM45 graphite construction with an ultra thin graphite outer layer for strength and durability. The most stunning feature of the Endurance Series would have to be the rod blank. Before finishing, the rod blanks are wrapped with an ultra thin graphite fiber, increasing the overall strength of the rod and providing a distinctive look.
All Endurance rod blanks are finished in transparent olive sparkle flake and wrapped in tan with sliver trim. Fuji guides, Pac Bay graphite sliding rings and a "Tennessee" style (all cork) handle complete the rod's overall appearance. The handles measure 20". Rods include a unique PVC/cordura covered triangular cross section tube (can't roll) with an integral nylon divider bag.
Cortland Endurance Float Rods feature Cortland's Limited Lifetime Warranty. For details on the Cortland warranty, please click HERE.
We stock these rods in an 11' 6" two piece model.

Worked on big fish and small fish. Had trouble balancing rod with reel. Some washers taped to buttend did the trick. Use a rubber band around rod for a hook keeper. So far good rod for price.

Nice rod, capable of wide range of lines. Good tip sensitivity and more butt strength than I expected. The 11.5' length is a real plus when mending line while float fishing. One of my favorite rods!

The first day on stream with this rod preformed excellent.I have the 11'6 and found it to be the perfect tool for small streams. Landing fish was a pleasure-plenty of backbone but yet soft enough to land fish on 4lb test if played properly.Great rod.
