Cortland Endurance Cassette Fly Reel (back)

The Cortland Endurance Cassette Fly Reels provide extreme versatility at a very attractive price. Endurance Cassette Reels features interchangeable spool cassettes in standard and large arbor sizes. This gives you the benefits of both a large arbor for fast retrieving and a standard arbor for increased line capacity. With additional cassettes these reels can be used on different sized rods.

The Endurance Cassette also features an enclosed disc drag system that is fully adjustable through a wide range of settings with an easy to turn polyurethane drag knob that is handy when fingers are cold or wet. Additional drag can be applied via the exposed rim. The retaining lever allows for easy removal and locking of the spool to the frame. The disc drag was designed to be audible on outgoing line and silent retreive. These reels are finished in an matte silver color.

Cortland Endurance Cassette Case

We carry these reels in sizes #1 for line weights 3/4/5/6 and #2 for line weights 7/8/9/10. Each reel comes with both a standard and large arbor cassette and a protective cordura case which holds the reel and up to three spare cassettes.

This was my vey first fly reel and I can say with absolute confidence that it exceeded my expectations. Small, compact, quick change cassette spools are awesome. Can't find a single negative about this reel so far.
