Chota RockLoc Wading Shoes
Chota RockLoc Wading Shoes are the most technically advanced wading boot ever built. The RockLoc outer sole features specially compounded soft rubber bobbed cleats and built in STL Cleat receptacles for the most versatile high traction rubber wading sole available. The uppers feature polyurethane coated genuine leather and are abrasion resistant, providing a level of comfort only possible with real leather. Chota’s exclusive PU Injection mid-sole with side wall stitching gives extreme comfort, lateral support and durability.
The polyurethane coated genuine leather upper and rubber sole construction with the absence of a felt sole aid in quick cleaning and drying times and are great wading shoes for areas where invasive species are of concern.
Chota RockLoc Wading Shoes have micro screen ports which allow shoe drainage while blocking out debris. This shoe also features Chota's exclusive "Quicklace System" which provides rapid adjustment without knots or bows. Each pair of shoes includes 28 STL hardened steel cleats. A 1/4" socket or nut driver (not included) is required for inserting or removing the cleats.
These wading shoes are two-tone brown and dark olive in color and are available in men's size 9.

Have already used these wading boots twice on Salmon River, NY, no problems, will not need Korkers this winter! Also, with more States banning felt they are the best substitute I know of.

Great boot. Had many over the years but these are the most comfortable I have ever owned. Easy to get in and out but I worry about the lacing system. Slippery as all #*ll even with the cleats Maybe it just takes some getting used to after felt w/ cleats. Nice boot

These are awesome wading boots. I put the cleats in, and they perform great in a lot of different conditions. The boot construction seems really good while still having a fairly light weight feel. As the other reviewer said, I'm not sure how long the laces will hold up, but the speed lacing feature is pretty cool. It's very fast to get in and out of. Also, for sizing, if you order your normal shoe size they will fit perfectly with the thickness of a good pair of socks and the neoprene booties of your waders.
All in all I don't think you will be disappointed.

I bought a pair of Chota STL boots on the advice of the folks at Fish USA five years ago. I have used them a lot in all kinds of conditions. They are the best bang for the buck. The speed lacing is sweet. I use the screws in the bottom. I have had to replace the screws this year. No big deal just a 1/4" nut driver.

I question the longevity of the elastic laces, but the quick lock system made short work of getting in and out of these boots. A finger loop on the back would be a nice addition, as would a rubber toe guard on the front to protect the leather. Comfortable to walk in. My first pair of non-felt boots and have only used them so far for steelhead fishing on Elk Creek in Erie. With the cleats in I had positive traction in and out of the water.

One of the best boots on the market. The other is the Orignal STL PLUS! I have worn this boot fifteen times in the last month and it just gets better. Great support, great fit with any style bootie, and drys really fast. Does great on all bottom surfaces and with the studs its fantastic. The sticky rubber just does not wear down. I do a lot of walking to differant pools and there are no wear marks yet. I'am in the water from 0:630 until 4:00 P.M. and at the end of the day you don't even know you have had them on. The new upgrades from Chota on the hardened lace eyelets and the coated leather is a huge improvement. Great job Chota!! Best boots on the market!!
