Berkley Trilene
100% Fluorocarbon Ice Line

Berkley Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon Ice Line features a cold weather formula, processed for high impact strength and manageability while ice fishing. Like all fluorocarbon lines, Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon Ice Line has a light refraction close to that of water for stealthy presentations and invisability. The specialized, small diameter and lower stretch makes detecting light bites much easier.

We offer Berkley Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon Ice Line in 75 yard pony spools. This line is available in clear.

About Me:

I use 2#, 3# and 4# Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon Ice line extensively, for both ice fishing and for ultra light open water fishing. When ice fishing, I use it as a shallow water main line or as a leader (with a high visibility main line) when jigging deeper water. I also use it as leader material when jigging small artificials and presenting live baits in open water. It really is an excellent product. It's exactly what it's meant to be, but it's not limp and it's not cheap, so it's best used selectively.

Pros: Excellent knot strength , Good abrasion resistance , Low stretch , Low memory , Very consistent quality , Very low visibility , Very strong for diameter

Cons: Not cheap but good , Too stiff for most main line apps

Best Uses: Leader material , Tightlining , Ice jigging , UL open water

i didn't know what flourocarbon was till i coinsidently bought this type of two pound test. After i bought it, I saw a show on tv and they talked how it sank faster. I googled it and liked what i read. I finally got to use it all weekend in Michigan and it was everything i hoped for and more. It tied up like a thicker line. It sank plenty fast and i never had a snapped line all weekend. Caught some nice fish through the ice. I caught more fish than my 5 buddys this weekend. We were all using same baits and colors. It could have been the line?????

This works great for ice fishing, never use normal fishing line when ice fishing. This feeds nicer, and doesn't get caked with ice in your spinner reels.

Pros: Spools nice , Great performance
