Berkley Gulp! 3" and 4" Minnow

Description

The Berkley Gulp! 3" and 4" Minnow is the perfect jig trailer or trolling bait. It has a very lifelike appearance and is more durable and lasts longer than a live minnow.

These baits come 12 per package in the 3" size and 8 per package in the 4" size.

Please note we can no longer ship Gulp! Alive or Gulp! baits to Australia or New Zealand because of customs import restrictions. AU and NZ customs demand a list of ingredients for the baits, which is proprietary information that Berkley will not disclose. Due to this fact, we must cancel any order for these baits to the above countries. Thanks for your understanding.

If you are serious

I would give these a plus+ 5 if I could
they were that incredible..!
Last year when fishing a lake in Canada, while hiding from the wind in a cove, we accidentally stumbled up a forage fish in the lake. The shiner/chub type minnows, about 3inches long, were in schools of about 100-200 fish. Turns out that I had 2 bags of gulp that looked exactly like this bait fish. We went onto the other side of the cove ( a bit more wind) and I used the gulp on a 1/8 oz ""mooneye"" jig head. This was the real deal...! We ran completely out of gulp in about 45 minutes..! We used other gulp minnows on the mooneye jugs with great success but not nearly like the success on the color we ran out of. Anyone who has purchased MoonEye Jigs know that they cost an arm and leg - I think 4 are nearly $5 Bucks. I found some bare leadhead from another supplier, was able to squeeze the heads flat in a vice, apply powder coating in black, and super glue the Fish Skull Living Eyes on the heads. I made about 100 heads in 1/8oz and 1/4 oz with the moon eye look for a fraction of the costs. I won't feel too bad when I hook a rock in 20-40 feet of water and lose a head. Good luck to anyone that tries this method...
Pros: incredible bait, looks like the forage of the lake
Cons: tear easily, somewhat expensive, need larger quanities for this color

About Me:
Avid Fisher
Exceptionally realistic action mimicking a wounded or panicked baitfish. I have had many days where I caught well over 50 Smallmouth Bass in the James River in Virginia and invariably outfish my partners that were using hard bodied lures, or other minow imitations. Easy to skip under overhanging cover. Deadly in the right hands.
Pros: Looks Realistic, Irresistible to Fish, Easy To Handle, Lifelike action
Cons: none
Best Uses: Rivers and Streams, Fresh Water
