About Me:

The Swimming Mullet in rootbeer color is a great Barred Surfperch bait here in the Southern California surf. Carolina-rigged or dropshotted through the shallows, it often works in situations where natural baits are not producing. It's tough and one bait will stay on the hook through several hookups.

Pros: Easy To Handle, Irresistible to Fish, Strong, Easy To Store

Cons: None

Best Uses: Shore Casting, Salt Water

About Me:

Carolina-rigged or dropshotted, the 3" root beer grub is the best bait artificial or natural in the light tackle surf here in Southern California. Sadly, I heard Berkley was discontinuing this bait and I wouldn't doubt it. I can't find it in any of my local tackle stores and also struggled to find it online until I found it here (last 4 bags of 3" RBG). FishUSA comes through again!

Pros: Easy To Handle, Irresistible to Fish, Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish, Strong
