The name describes this vice perfectly. Very durable and will perform well for many years. Rotary function is smooth and easily adjustable. One of the best features is the pedestal base. Very heavy and stable and the blue color is nice. A minor point, the base collar on the stem tends to loosen and needs frequent tightening.
Pros: Durable, smooth and easily adjusted rotation, heavy stable base
Cons: base collar tends to loosen
Best Uses: None Specified

About Me:

I have used this vise for three years. Not the finest machining, but the name Anvil should say it all. Stable base, great C-Clamp, strongest jaws I have experienced with a great range for hooks. I used a Renzetti Traveler Cam for 5 years before buying the Anvil. I like the durability and design of the Anvil better. Better value, more stable, heavier with better range. The traveler is just that, a travel vise for me now.
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy To Maintain, Durable, Functional
Cons: none
Best Uses: Salt Water, Fresh Water
