About Me:
bought two of these reels was very dissapointed. Works good on a warm day or in the shanty but the spool freezes up in cold temps.I got out to my fishing spot pulled it out of my rod storage bag and it was locked up. Not a good quality in an ice fishing reel.

About Me:
The drag system will not loosen up enough for the 2 lb test that I use with it. It doesn't free fall as advertised. Other than that I like the reel.

Pros: real smooth

Cons: drag, free fall

Before buying this reel I read all the reviews of the fellow fisherman. Who wrote a reviews on this reel. They were right this reel is very smooth and drag works perfect. Only problem I had was the gold screw cap on the handle fell off. GREAT REEL for ice fishing not sure about summer fishing yet.

About Me:
This reel is not worth the money. No directions included. No warnings for any things not to use to clean it. Not balanced very well, Two handle reel clumsy with mitts on during cold weather ice fishing. Light jigs will not free spool into the hole. Drag not smooth. Difficult to spool up, need two people to keep line level winding when spooling.

About Me:
This reel is built solid! Everything you should expect out of a quality bait caster. My issue was mainly with the rod I used. I put it on a 13 Fishing Black Betty rod, but felt that it made my rod too back heavy. The design and weight of the reel made my rod tip want to stay upright when I like to typically fish with a horizontal or slightly downward facing rod. Just didn't feel good in my hands with that rod. Maybe having it on a rod with a larger handle would work better for someone else.
