Powell Tiboron XL Fly Rods
For nearly a century Powell has been a leader in rod design and technology. Powell continues that tradition of excellence with the Tiboron XL Series of fly rods. The Tiboron XL is Powell's newest concept extra-fast action series which is constructed using Titanium and the "Maxumfiber" material application. Maxumfiber, with an ultra-high modulus, high-resin content, enables Powell to manipulate construction parameters with less material, making the Tiboron XL much lighter, better balanced and exteremly sensitive.
Powell also incorporated the new Low Profile Sleek Ferruling System into these rods adding strength and cutting weight. The stripping guides are made of a non-corrosive Titanium Alloy with nanolite inserts and the snake guides are chrome.
The Tiboron XL Series offer anglers a truly amazing fly casting tool. When you need that extra reach, or that enhanced lifting capability, the Tiboron XL delivers. This rod is considered by many to be the best distance casting and user friendly rod on the planet.

- Reverse half wells grip and uplocking anodized Ti-graphite reel seat on 3 through 6 wt rods
