Powell Max Bass Spinning Rods
For nearly a century Powell has been a leader in rod design and technology. Powell continues that tradition of excellence with the Max Series of bass spinning rods. The Max Series rods are high performance tools designed to give the angler a true advantage while fishing today's bass tournament trails. These lure-specific, fast and extra fast action bass rods are constructed using the "Maxumfiber" material application. Maxumfiber, with an ultra-high modulus, high-resin content, enables Powell to manipulate construction parameters with less material, making the Max much lighter, better balanced and exteremly sensitive.
The light action rods are designed for finesse drop shotting, light dartheading and split shotting while the medium light models are designed for dartheads, shaky heads and shaking worms and tubes. These super sensitive rods will deliver pin-point casts and stand up to heavy use every time you head to the water.
