The machined and anodized aluminum spool includes a Super Line spool so no backing is needed because the rubber gasket keeps superline from slipping.
Penn Battle Spinning Reels also feature a 6+1 stainless steel bearing system and a techno-balanced rotor to give smooth retrieves.
