The Okuma VSystem is the marquee spinning reel from the company that is setting the standards for spinning reel technology. The VSystem is built on the foundation of the patented EOS elliptical oscillation drive gears, offering superior line lay while maintaining unmatched stability. Due to the elliptical shape of the gears, they are constantly engaged during the two stroke oscillation.
The VSystem also features the new, revolutionary Dual Force Drag system, DFD. In addition to the traditional multi-disk drag, it has a large drag system mounted beneath the spool, which by equalizing the drag force, stabilizes and dissipates heat, promising smooth drag operation under extreme tensions. Each VSystem reel also also includes one of Okuma's Extreme Element Bearings, made with double shielded stainless steel and high density ceramic balls.
With nine models, from the ultra light V-15a to the big water V-80a, the VSystem has the range to cover almost any spinning application.
All of these reels include an Okuma five year warranty.
