In the early 1970's Metz revolutionized the fly tying world by introducing the first genetically engineered hackle to the fly fishing industry. They were the first to produce true "dry fly quality" hackle, in a complete range of colors.

Using a quality genetic hackle ensures that each dry fly tied is high floating and durable. The Metz #2 Saddles have nice long hackles allowing you to get multiple flies from each one. These saddles are ideal for size 10, 12 and 14 dry flies.
