Joe's Flies Short Striker Classic Spinners combine the time proven effectiveness of hand tied flies with the irresistible flash of a premium spinner blades. Short Striker Classic Spinners feature a bonus stinger treble hook at the rear which increases hook ups for fish that "strike short."
We carry the Joe's Flies Short Striker Classic Spinners with size 8 or size 10 hooks. Size 8 is the most popular size and is the ideal choice for most fishing conditions. These lures are perfect when fished with 4 to 6 pound test line for Brook, Rainbow, and Brown Trout. Size 10 is approximately 30% smaller in physical size than the size 8 spinners. These lures are great when used with 2 to 4 pound test line and are well suited for use in smaller streams where the water is clear and more delicate presentations are desired.
