This breakthrough in line technology from the Japanese can be used for all types of fishing where the angler requires a line that is invisible in water, breaks the surface tension of the water and sinks rapidly.

Ashima Fluorocarbon is a fast sink line with a specific gravity of 1.78g/cm3. It is almost completely invisible in water. It is a line with very high sensitivity and correspondingly low stretch properties. The line does not absorb water and has a high knot strength.

Atlas' "Guide's Choice" Shake "N" Cure is the number one cure for salmon and steelhead egg skeins and single eggs. This cure locks in fish-attracting scents and increases milking of the eggs. Eggs cured this way are also used in making egg sacs.

This is a dry cure that is sprinkled on the eggs, and the treatment takes less than an hour (although drying time is longer and depends on how soft or hard you want the eggs). Cured eggs can be kept in a refrigerator for months and in a freezer up to a year.

Bailey's Super Stream Cleats offer superior stream traction in a light weight sandal that is easy to get on and off.

Super Stream Cleats BottomThe vulcanized rubber sides and neoprene tops are tough and durable but easy to get on and off. The have a loop on the back to help pull them over your wading shoes or bootfoot wader. A lace around the top keeps the heal of these cleats from slipping off.

Nothing holds like aluminum on slippery rocks. Aluminum cuts through slime and is soft enough to grip rocks. These are much easier to walk on rocks than dry spikes and they hold better. Beneath the aluminum cleats is a felt sole for even more slip-resistance.

These sandals tend to be small. If in doubt, order the next size up.

Berkley Gulp! Sinking Minnows can be fished weightless on a Texas rig or wacky style, cast to suspended fish or bass holding in cover. After the bait hits the water simply let it sink. The bait has its own action and will wiggle and shake as it falls. When the fish strikes, generally there's little doubt, reel down and set the hook. If the bait settles to the bottom give it three or four jerks using the rod tip. Then let the bait fall free again. This gives the bait the look of escaping baitfish running to the surface. Gulp! Sinking Minnows can also be rigged Carolina style.
