Griffith's Gnat

The Griffith's Gnat is a very good midge imitation, which has been around for many years. There are many newer midge patterns, but anglers in the know often tie on a Griffith's Gnat before any other midge fly. This is a very good slower water pattern and it is easy to see on the water

These flies are tied on Mustad or Dai-Riki hooks and are hackled with Hoffman (Whitting Farms) hackle.

This fly is available in sizes 20, 22 and 24.
