Great Lakes Comet
This is a modification the traditional Comet fly. The Great Lakes Comet is a popular pattern used for salmon and steelhead. This fly boasts a sparkle braid body and an Estaz thorax, for a "brighter" fly than the traditional Comet.
We carry these flies in sizes four and six. These flies are tied locally on Mustad and Dai-Riki salmon hooks. We stock the Comet in Florescent Chartreuse, Florescent Orange, Florescent Pink and Purple, as shown in the table below.
