G. Loomis GLX ShakyHead Spinning Rods feature split-grip handles, a custom ultra-light reel seat, and Fuji Titanium SIC guides & tip-top.The three Fiber-blend models are great for when the fish are hugging the bottom in tight cover. This will get in their face like no other technique!

GLX ShakyHead Spinning Rods have a little stiffer feel because the real flex starts about 4-inches from the tip-top, creating a unique action so you can shake the jig & worm combination without moving it a lot. It takes some practice, but it can really make a tough day special.

• GLX 821S SYR - A light finesse spinning rod designed specifically for fishing the smaller ShakyHead rigs in clear-water lakes where there’s less cover and you need to use lighter line. GLX makes it lighter and more sensitive. It has a relatively stiff butt-section for casting control and quick, responsive hook sets.


• GLX 822S SYR - A medium power finesse spinning rod designed specifically for fishing heavier ShakyHead rigs in lakes where there’s a little more cover or in deep-water situations where you need a little heavier line and slightly heavier jig set up to maintain contact with the bottom. It has a surprisingly powerful butt-section for quick, positive hook-sets and fish-fighting control.


• GLX 823S SYR -This is a more powerful version of the ShakyHead rod and it's just what you need when you go to heavier line and lures. GLX makes this rod a lot lighter and it's noticeably more sensitive. It has plenty of power for quick, positive hook-sets and fish-fighting control... deep or shallow.
