G. Loomis Current Fly Reels
After you're gone, these reels will cause fights amongst your heirs. Until then, the Current with its top of the line water resistant drag system, will put the odds decidedly in your favor when you tussle with a drag testing fish. These fly reels from G. Loomis feature double hard anodized finishes, cold forging for strength and machining for weight reduction and precision tolerances. The Current fly reel series is as tough as the rods G. Loomis has produced for over 25 years.
These reels also feature quick-release push-button spools for swapping out line and changing retrieve directions. The low maintenance disk drag is sealed to keep out water and debris providing consistent drag, fish after fish, year after year.
We carry the Current in sizes 5-6 and 9-10. The richly finished color (dark blue on the outside and polished gold inside the spool) and a beautifully detailed wooden handle compliment all rods, especially G. Loomis models, making these as nice to look at as they are to fish.
