G-Fly E-Chip Trolling Flies
G-Fly E-Chip Trolling Flies feature E-Chip technology. The E-Chip consists of a small stainless steel tube with a stainless ball inside. At one end of the tube there is a special ceramic crystal. As the ball strikes each end, the crystal produces a tiny electric impulse which duplicates the nerve discharge of a wounded baitfish.
Generally these flies are fished behind a dodger or flasher. They work with all trolling methods, including downriggers, dipsy divers, planer boards, wire lines and lead core.
- For a fast whipping action, use between 16" - 24" behind dodger or flasher
- For a slower, wounded fish effect, use between 25"- 30" behind dodger or flasher
- Best trolled at speeds of 1 to 3 knots
The G-Fly comes completely rigged with a Diamond Hi-Catch mono leader and two VMC octopus hooks.
