For those who prefer live bait, take a FoodSource salmon egg and place it on the hook in front of the bait. This gives you the seductive action of a live bait, with the addition of a soft attractor bead and a stronger scent/chum trail.

FoodSource lures are made from food, not soft plastic. They are designed to feel natural like a minnow or other natural food sources. They are not supposed to feel as soft as soft plastics. Not only do FoodSource lures feel and taste more natural to fish, the firmness helps them stay on the hook better. If you think they are a little too firm right out of the bag, just fish with them for a while and they'll limber up. Or, you can put a little water in the bag and let it soak in if you want softer lures.
FoodSource lures are made from food, not plastic. Therefore, you need to take a little extra care with them. They don't need to be refrigerated, but you should keep them away from extreme heat and prolonged direct sunlight. If they get hot and feel soft, just cool them down and they'll be fine.
FoodSource lures should be kept sealed in the bag when not in use. If the bag is accidentally left open for too long and the lures feel a little stiff, just put a little water in the bag with the lures and they'll return to normal consistency.

The color and scent combinations are visible on the drop down menu above, with the color first, followed by the scent for each bait. These FoodSource Salmon Egg come in 1 oz. (28g) packages and contain 60 to 65 eggs per package.
