Report: Fished mouth at Godfrey Run 8:00am
to 2:00pm. Caught 1 and lost 3. All came on blue
and silver cleo's. I also stopped to check out Elk,
and it was as low as I have ever seen it. I walked
from access lot up to little waterfall and didn't
see any. Finally I went to Walnut to see the stream
improvements. There are five new holes, and if we
ever get rain they will definitely be holding many
fish. Fish on!!

Report: Fished for a while off the islands,
trolled for walleyes and caught 6 in 3 hours,
smallmouth fishing's always great. Caught several
bass in the 3 to 4 lbs. range. Still waiting for
the steelies to move into the creeks thick, but it
may be a little while yet, also id just like to say
that people who write reports disecting the
inappropriate reports of others are just as
hippocritical and ignorant, and are wasting just as
much time as the people who they are writing about.
We don't need a composition on the finer points of
grammar, thank you.

waves kept us from fishing the shore. Tip: have
patience and keep the lines in the water.

Report: Thank you for deleting the ignorant
comments regarding Pittsburgh fishermen. You
maintain a very nice site that has some great info.
I feel that it is unfortunate that certain people
will take advantage of your generosity and hard
work by posting ignorant remarks. I find it even
more incredible that comments similar to these
would come from a person who who has the minimal
intelligence to learn where the "any" button is on
a computer keyboard (but concurrently not having
the minimal grammar skills to compose a complete
sentence nor the mental capacity to maintain a
sustainable argument on any level above what is the
better cereal, Sugar Pops or Frostly Flakes?). At
the same time, this person hides behind the
anonymous framework of the virtual world; he or she
must be contestants number 1 or 3; the two that
were never chosen on the old "Dating Game". I was
going to email this privately, but I thought it
better to place this in a public arena. Again thank
you for maintaining the site and I wish you success
with it in the future.

point that no boats went out in AM. Started fishing
at 5AM, saw and had runs off and on untill 1 PM,
caught and landed six fish, kept two around 25
inches, very fresh fish. Take worms, power bait,
egg sacks, lures, and have some fun, best fishing

Report: Well, if green GOUP was legal and
edible, I caught more than my limit and fill.
Unfortunately, last night, although as beautiful as
a post card setting as I sat on the last corner and
looked out to the Erie Ocean, produced no fish.
There was one thrill in hearing a young boy farther
upstream yell "Hey DAD I got one and it's a big
one." I didn't see what or how big, but it wsa
great to hear him. Talked to a couple of other
people. One young gentlemen, stated that he caught
a 10 pounder at the mouth on Monday night. I did
hear a few jumps, so there are some big ones
moving. The water was not really flowing well so it
was quite muddy, but a nearby lady stated that she
did see a big one moving.

one jack. Few other people caught some nice ones.
Had a huge one on in the lake yesterday, but my
cohort Bob Pektas netted it and then proceeded to
let it jump back out of the net. Only seconds later
did my line snap on the net. Oh well.

Type of Report: Lake
Report: Lauched out of Northeast marina on
9/4/99, went out to 105ft and trolled off the
riggers
for bout 5 hrs and only had 2 hits but no fish. It
seems like the walleyes don't like northeast
anymore. Went into 40ft and tried for smallies and
they weren't biting ether.
It was a bad day at northeast even the sheephead
weren't biting and thats bad.
On 9/5/99 we went out of Walnut creek access and
tried trolling for steelies out in front of the
launch area, hoping that they were starting to stage
but we didn't find any steelies, so it was a bad
day at Walnut too.
The parking setup at Walnut creek is terrable
and need looked at by the fish commision. There
were trucks and trailers parked just
everywhere, some were even taking up two parking
spaces, they should start giving parking ticket to
some of these people then maybe they will think
twice the next time.
There is room there for everyone if some people
don't take more than thier share.
Good luck and keep your lines tight.
